High-speed doors are designed to separate different areas and widely used wherever fast opening and closure times are needed, like in industrial buildings, warehouses, and logistics centres. They are formed by a metal structure and a PVC frame that moves vertically, driven by a gearmotor.
For this type of application, we have designed a worm gearbox coupled with an AC brake motor. A rotary limit switch is fitted to the gear box and after a certain number of revolutions, the cams intervene on the microswitches, controlling a pre-defined movement.
