The ALU DC range consists of 12 V and 24 V DC gearmotors. The DC electric motors with permanent magnets from the EC range and the ND rare earth electric motors are coupled with helical inline gearboxes, CMB helical bevel gearboxes, and CM-CMM wormgearboxes.
In power terms, the smallest DC gearmotors can be found in the MiniTecno range, which is aimed at those needing compact products.
EC permanent ferrite magnet motor range
DC motors with permanent magnets. Available in 6 sizes with the possibility to add accessories, such as brake or encoder. The main characteristics:
- Magnetic field generated by permanent magnets
- Available in 6 sizes: diameter 42, 52, 65, 81, 104, 110 mm
- Possibility to fit brake and encoder
- Low voltage power, 12 or 24 V DC
- Available power from 30 to 800 W in S2

ND Neodymium permanent magnet motor range
Neodymium (NdFeB) magnets are part of the rare earth magnets. DC electric motors with Neodymium magnets provide high torque levels in an extremely compact size.
Characteristics of the permanent magnet 12 V 24 V DC motors in Neodymium from the ND range:
- Motors available with a 65 diameter
- Low voltage power 12 or 24 V DC
- Motor power 160 and 250 W in S2
- High torque levels
- Possibility to fit brake and encoder
Motors for outside application
The market has needs that can be seen on a daily basis. This is why we have developed a standard range that also includes outside applications.
The DC electric motors with IP66 protection class are the ideal solution for outdoor applications. A few essential additions to the existing range of motors have allowed us to achieve IEC/EN60529 certification.
IP66 DC motors cover a power range from 100 W to 800 W.
