This has been a long, complex but also very interesting project, and one that has allowed us to find the ideal solution for application in the shipping industry.
The cruise ships owned by a famous company that will be sailing the oceans in the next few years will also be fitting numerous Transtecno geared motors. Working in synergy with other important engineering companies, we have developed an electrical movement system for many of the windows on board.
These windows will be able to open and close individually but also, if necessary, from a single control point. They will be driven by double reduction worm geared motors and a DC motor. Special sensors and devices will allow this movement to occur in complete safety. This is the main added value to the application.
