We have designed the IRON range following the same philosophy, and today we also apply modularity to the stronger gearboxes.
The three series ITH, ITS, ITB, which form the IRON range, share the same gear kit, cover and IEC. Even IRON utilizes shared kits for an infinite number of combinations.
In particular, the motor couplings play an important role: even more in the ALU range, in cast iron reducers the coupling allows a further decrease in the amount of stock covers, in addition allowing numerous advantages in technical application level.
From the elimination of tribocorrosion phenomenon (welding the motor shaft inside the sleeve PAM) reducing the operating temperatures, is an advantage for the duration of the sealing rings, to the damping of the inertia peaks in the extremely demanding applications to ensure the reliability required of the transmission.
Less components to stock means higher delivery capacity to our customers: a real added value for both distributors and machine builders.
Modularity is therefore a concept that we apply to our products in a global manner, first with the ALU range, now also with the IRON range.
